In dreams, I'm making love to a violin...
its positioned in a firm grip
the fiddler I am, tunes its strings
with long sure strokes
testing out the range of its accoustics
lightly touching the string with a fingertip
at a mind to mind synchronicity
of dire sweet melodies
there is a "mmm" sound deep vibrato -
rythmic pulsing, into interior walls
"is this what its like to make love to a violin,"
I... trangress into an overtone
there is an "aahh" sound higher than the strings pitch
near breaking, I reverberate into pizzicato
adeptly two fingers are placed on the string,
one on the A note, another on the G note
while the higher finger fine tunes
horizons of twin peaks
producing the angelic pitch
of a sweet sweet melody
crying double stops and drones
of a fine tuned violin ...
